In a low-scoring contest between the Barrie Admirals and the Dollywood Partons, Edwardo Rodriguez was the X factor. The Barrie left-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. With the win, Barrie pushed its record to 84-41.

Barrie third baseman David Nevarez helped the Admirals go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Nevarez hit a run-scoring single off Dollywood pitcher Jeff Maxheimer.

"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Rodriguez.
