London and Atlanta duked it out and the Werewolves came out victorious.
The London Werewolves topped the Atlanta Aggies, 5-2, in Southern A action at Aggies Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to London pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Tyler Huewe. Kevin Farris zipped up his 23rd save.
Phil Galvin, who is tied for 10th in the S-A in stolen bases with 13, helped out the London cause in the top of the ninth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the right fielder went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Atlanta manager Jeremiah Simpson.
The win elevated the Werewolves to 83-36.
