Capitols Take Home 4-3 Win Over Cincinnati
The Cincinnati Bombardiers and Augusta Capitols provided some drama for the home crowd.

The Augusta Capitols downed the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 4-3, at Ballpark of Cincinnati. Ken Gavin led the way, going 3-for-4 for Augusta. Augusta reliever Jordan Green picked up the win, raising his record to 1-4. Jason Gaiser was tagged with the loss. Jeff Cox was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 26 of 31 save opportunities.

Jaylin Sanders helped out the Augusta cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1-4.

Sanders called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."

Augusta is now 61-37, 2½ games up in the Western AA Coastal Division.
