Sweepers Get 2-1 Win Versus London
In a low-scoring contest, Nashua pitcher Steve Quintero was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 2-1 win. Matt Gardner earned the save for Nashua, his 1st. Nashua occupies second place in the Southern A East Division at 54-48.

Nashua right fielder Malcolm McKechnie said he just wanted to make contact when he came to bat with the bases empty in the top of the sixth. He did even better -- McKechnie hit a solo home run to stake Nashua to a 2-1 lead. His 15th home run of the season came off London pitcher Rick Hill.

"Steve was fantastic," said Nashua manager Steve Reid. "Great passion, great pace."
