The Orono Oaks knocked off the Ann Arbor Z's, 8-0, at University of Maine Stadium. Sean Dowling was a big reason Orono won. The designated hitter was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Chris Hawes was the winner. Over 7.1 innings, he yielded no runs on 1 hit, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts.
