Oaks Come Back Late to Clip Aces
Chris Hawes, who is tied for 2nd in the StC in innings pitched with 88.2, played a key role in a gritty 2-1 Orono Oaks win against the Quebec Aces. Matt Williams locked down his 15th save. The win boosted Orono to 34-26.

Had Kevin Morrow not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Morrow hit a 2-run single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Oaks.

"Runs were tough to come by," said Morrow. "But we scored just enough to win."
