The Cincinnati Bombardiers defeated the Vermont Milkmen, 2-0, in Western AA action at Emeralds Ballpark. Cincinnati pitcher Jason Gaiser had a standout performance. Max Mascareno earned the save for Cincinnati, his 9th. The Bombardiers raised their record to 22-35.
Gaiser, who was born in Tucson, Arizona, threw 94 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
"We found a way to win tonight," Gaiser said.
