Cuevas goes 3-for-4 to Ignite Scorpions Offense
The Sonoma Scorpions powered past the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, 9-7, at Ballpark of North Richland Hills. Armando Cuevas went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Chris Gabbitas earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Jason Burget wrapped it up, recording his 7th save.

First Baseman Tom Johnson made an impact for Sonoma, when he swatted a bases-clearing double off Matt Hanna in the bottom of the first. For the contest, Johnson went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
