A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Vail Tigercats and London Tigers.

Vail Tigercats pitcher Jesus Howell was all business, helping his team muzzle the London Tigers, 7-0. The Tigercats have an impressive 38-21 record.

Vail used a well-timed hit by David Hidalgo to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the third inning to put the Tigercats ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm happy we won," said Howell. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
