The Hamilton Bulldogs got a sterling performance from pitcher Chris Reed, but the London Tigers still prevailed, 4-2. Reed threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Jay Yeiser closed it out for his 2nd save. London is now 35-21, Hamilton 35-21.

London used a timely hit from Mike Sargent to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tigers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"It feels good to get this one," Sargent told the London Gazette.
