Keith Homers Twice in 19-2 Win
The Mexico City Aztecs pounded the Columbus Bowsers, 19-2, at Ballpark of Columbus. Mexico City shortstop David Keith had a solid game. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Aztecs. Brian Anderson earned the win, while 22-year old right-handed pitcher Pat Higginbotham took the loss for Columbus. Marco Montes closed the game out for Mexico City, earning his 1st save.

The Aztecs got a big hit from right fielder Tony Thomas. Facing Columbus pitcher Cody Knipple in the top of the seventh, Thomas pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 20th home run of the season put the Aztecs ahead, 18-1.

Columbus manager Joe Mills lamented, "It was a long night."

With the win, the Aztecs sit at 37-27.
