A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Lake Elsinore Storm and White Deer Tropics.

The Lake Elsinore Storm weathered an outstanding game by White Deer shortstop Mario Garcia to topple the Tropics, 9-4. Garcia was 1 for 3 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The Storm now have a record of 12-47.

Jody Stack was vital to the Lake Elsinore win. He went 1 for 5. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third with two out, Stack hit a 2-run single. It made the score 2-0, in favor of the Storm.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Stack.
