A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Dollywood Partons and Barrie Admirals.

Dollywood pitcher Matt Osborne had a large part in his team beating the Barrie Admirals, 3-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Osborne, now 4-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Gregg Daugherty earned the save for Dollywood, his 8th of the year.

Dollywood used the hitting of Colby Freese to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Partons on top, 3-0. For the game, Freese had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
