Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Comets
The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Kalamazoo fans at Wizards Stadium.

The Kalamazoo Comets locked up a win at Wizards Stadium, knocking off the Columbus Bowsers, 6-4. On the mound for Kalamazoo was right-hander Angel Silva. He played a major role in the triumph. Kalamazoo reliever Drew Martin was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Josh Adams took the loss.

Kalamazoo got a knockout punch from Tim Amos. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Angel pitched his heart out," said Kalamazoo manager Morgan Van Dyke.

The loss makes Columbus 32-24.
