The Nashua Sweepers used an offensive barrage to beat the Bangor Lumberjacks, 10-2, at Miller Park. Joe Morrison, who is tied for 10th in the S-A in runs scored with 36, led the way, going 3-for-4 for Nashua. The victory gives the Sweepers a record of 31-23.

Mike Middlebrooks had a big 2-run double for the Sweepers in the bottom of the third inning. With Nashua leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Jamie Knudson and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sweepers ahead, 3-0.

"They took it to us," said Bangor manager Shawn Banks.
