At Ballpark of Stockton, the Stockton Ragin Cajuns and Vermont Milkmen were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Behind an impressive start by Steve Quintero, Vermont beat Stockton, 6-2. The Milkmen win now puts them at 23-32.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Mike Sheets? The Vermont shortstop had a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Milkmen on top, 3-2. For the game, Sheets had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
