The Cornwall Royals took on the Sonoma Scorpions at Ballpark of North Richland Hills.

Cornwall pitcher Angelo Quezada did his part in helping his team defeat the Sonoma Scorpions, 6-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. John Mills sewed up the save, his 2nd.

With two out in the top of the seventh, Sean Trahan had a game-changing hit. The Royals shortstop slammed a 2-run single off Chris Gabbitas, making the score 5-2, Cornwall.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Trahan.

Cornwall has an impressive 33-17 record.
