The Dollywood Partons knocked off the Nashua Sweepers, 4-2, in Southern A action at Miller Park. Dollywood pitcher and Spencer, Oklahoma, native Ryan Roeser had an outstanding performance. The Partons sit in first place in the Southern A East Division with a record of 39-9.

Dollywood relied on the hitting of Charlie Trigg to pick up the win. The third baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put the Partons on top, 3-0. For the game, Trigg had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"If you chase it, you need to get it," said Dollywood skipper Adam Freeman.
