London pitcher Micah Smith had a large part in his team subduing the Barrie Admirals, 3-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Picking up his 12th save was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Ben Foster. The win lifted the London record to 26-19.

Smith picked up the win. He's now 5-3, after putting the Barrie offense in the deep freeze. Over 8 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 3 hits.

Smith said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
