Ballpark of Bangor was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Bangor Lumberjacks and Columbus Bowsers.

Bangor ruined an otherwise fine effort from Oliver Murga by toppling Columbus, 4-3. The Columbus pitcher threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. Bangor pitcher Tim Suttle got the win. He's now 2-1. Brent Conway was tagged with the loss.

Bangor took a 4-3 lead on David Manly's 2nd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Manly hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Columbus pitcher Andres Garcia visibly frustrated.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Manly. "It sure beats the alternative."

Bangor is now 21-21. Columbus is 25-17.
