Louisville got a strong outing from Mario Santana as the Sweepers defeated the Columbus Bowsers, 5-2, at Ballpark of Columbus. Louisville now has a record of 24-20 with the win.

Louisville used a clutch at-bat from Brian Morgano to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Sweepers ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Morgano told the Louisville News.
