Bowsers Pick Up 2-0 Win Against London
Columbus beat London on the strength of starting pitcher Joe Giunta's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 2-0. Giunta yielded no runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 3. His record improves to 6-1. The Bowsers have an impressive 25-16 record.

The Bowsers got a big at-bat from right fielder Nate Fard. For the game, Fard went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 9th home run of the season gave Columbus a 1-0 lead.
