Barrie registered a win at Miller Park by beating the Nashua Sweepers, 5-2. Pitcher Danny Cortez was one reason why the Admirals triumphed. Victor Martinez earned the save for Barrie, his 4th of the year. Barrie is now 23-17, Nashua 15-25.

Barrie relied on the bat of John Austin to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put the Admirals ahead, 2-0. For the game, Austin had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Barrie manager Manny Uset.
