Heroes Earn Late 4-3 Win
Though he had a terrific game, Patrick Burt could not prevent his team, the London Werewolves, from absorbing a loss. Pueblo won the game, 4-3. Burt was 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Matthew Tapscott recorded the save for Pueblo, his 1st of the season. The Heroes bumped their record to 24-17 with this win.

Dave Semones delivered a big hit for Pueblo. The shortstop drilled a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Heroes ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

Semones called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
