Weatherhead goes 3-for-4 to Fuel Comets Offense
Noel Weatherhead knocked in 3 runs to help Kalamazoo beat London, 7-5. The West Bloomfield Township, Michigan native tallied 2 singles and 1 home run. Mike McQueen was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Mike DeWitt. Earning his 8th save for Kalamazoo was Kevin Martinez.

Kalamazoo took a 7-5 lead on Weatherhead's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Mike DeWitt in the top of the eighth, propelled Kalamazoo to the win.

"Noel is still learning," said Comets manager Morgan Van Dyke. "The sky's the limit for him."

The victory puts Kalamazoo at 12-19.
