Nashua Beats Mexico City, 2-1

Nashua turned a good effort from starter Oscar Lopez into a win over the Mexico City Aztecs at Miller Park. The Sweepers won the game, 2-1. Isaiah Borne nailed down his 7th save. Nashua is now 17-13, while Mexico City is 21-9.
The Sweepers got a big at-bat from third baseman Joe Morrison. For the game, Morrison was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 4th double of the season gave Nashua a 2-0 lead.
"Oscar was locating, throwing all of his pitches," said Nashua manager Tony Allen. "He did a heck of a job."
