London pitcher Greg Forness did his part in helping his team beat the Pueblo Heroes, 5-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. In 8 innings, Forness surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 5. He allowed 2 runs. Earning his 6th save of the year was Ben Foster.

London used the timely hitting of Chad Cronin to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Werewolves on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Afterward, Pueblo manager Jeremiah Simpson said: "We've hit a rough patch."

The Heroes fall to 11-16 and continue their lackluster start in 2025.
