The Nashua Sweepers got a hard-earned win over the Columbus Bowsers, 5-4, in 10 innings. Malcolm McKechnie provided some offensive muscle for Nashua. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs. Glen Foster picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Luis de la Piedra suffered the loss. The win lifted the Nashua record to 16-13.

Eric Hunter delivered a run-scoring hit-by-pitch in the bottom of the tenth to win it for the Sweepers. For the game, Hunter went 2-4 with 2 singles and was hit by a pitch.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Hunter said.
