Riding the 2-hit performance of the 22-year old catcher Patrick McCall, the Columbus Bowsers stopped the Kalamazoo Comets, 7-2. With the win, Columbus elevates its record to 12-9.

Columbus went up, 6-2, on Joe Cluff's 4th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Cluff hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Kalamazoo pitcher Justin Tarin feeling deflated.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Columbus skipper Joe Mills.
