Due in large part to designated hitter Jonathan Lewis, the Mexico City Aztecs sunk the White Deer Tropics, 10-7. Lewis hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The loss drops White Deer to 11-10.

In the top of the third, Mexico City left fielder Steve Farnsworth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Farnsworth stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 2-0, Mexico City. For the game, he went 2 for 5 with a double.
