Bowsers Earn Win with Late Rally
|
The Columbus Bowsers and White Deer Tropics played an entertaining game for Ballpark of Columbus patrons.
Columbus beat White Deer at Ballpark of Columbus, eking out a 6-5 win. The triumph was primarily due to left fielder Mike Bosco. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. With the win, Columbus boosts its record to 8-13.
In the bottom of the eighth inning, right fielder Nate Fard had a key at-bat for the Bowsers. With Columbus trailing 5-3, he banged a 2-run home run.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Fard said.
