Right-hander Justin Rountree mesmerized the Columbus Bowsers while leading the Mexico City Aztecs to a 1-0 victory. Earning his 2nd save for Mexico City was Ken Griffey. Mexico City is now 13-7.

Mexico City first baseman Arturo Guevara contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 26th hit of the season and put the Aztecs ahead, 1-0.
