The Mexico City Aztecs defeated the Long Beach Keys, 15-3, at Tony Gwynn Stadium. Mexico City was led by 22-year old first baseman Arturo Guevara, who was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The loss puts Long Beach at 9-6.

David Keith was 1-4 for Mexico City. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Carlos Montenegro. It was his 6th RBI of the season.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Keith.
