The Kalamazoo Comets picked up a win at Wizards Stadium, taking down the Columbus Bowsers, 5-2. Starting pitcher Jim Unknown was a big reason why. Columbus, now 4-11, continues its tough start.

Jayden Browne dealt the Bowsers a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Kalamazoo leading 1-0, Browne hit a 1-1 fastball for a run-scoring single.

Browne called the win "a collective effort."
