The London Werewolves managed to get by the Barrie Admirals, 2-1, at Stadia de Leones. London pitcher Chris Rumrill set himself apart with his performance. Nick McKinney nailed down the save. The Admirals fall to 7-9 and continue their lethargic start to the 2024 season.

London used a clutch at-bat from Bob Ontiveros to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Werewolves ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Rumrill called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
