Bowsers Earn 6-1 Win Versus Kalamazoo
The exploits of shortstop Hector Landa, who is tied for 5th in the S-A in home runs with 4, helped the Columbus Bowsers defeat the Kalamazoo Comets, 6-1. Landa went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Mike Harrison earned the win. Bernado Marcelo took the loss for Kalamazoo. The Columbus dugout showed signs of unrest at times. But the Bowsers put this one in the win column with some good pitching and some timely hitting at critical moments.

To call the performance of the 3-13 Comets woeful so far is an understatement.
