Vaughn Lifts Tropics to 8-4 Win
The White Deer Tropics downed the Kalamazoo Comets, 8-4, at Wizards Stadium. Joel Vaughn led the way, going 3-for-4 for White Deer. White Deer is off to a hot start at 9-4.

In the top of the first, Jim Mann ambushed a 1-1 splitter from Justin Bunt and hit a 2-run home run. It gave White Deer a quick 2-0 lead.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Mann said.
