Capitals Come Up Short at San Antonio, 5-4
Soggy conditions did not keep San Antonio and Tampa from playing their scheduled game.

The San Antonio Stallions topped the Tampa Capitals, 5-4, with youngster Carlos Aguirre playing a key role. Aguirre went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Stallions in the win. The 4th-place Stallions sport a record of 58-82.

San Antonio took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Aguirre hit a 3-run home run. His 22nd home run of the season made the score 4-1, San Antonio.

"Enjoyed this one," Aguirre told the San Antonio Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
