Ambassadors Send Kansas City Home with 3-2 Loss
In a close game at Ballpark of Fremont, the Fremont Ambassadors edged the Kansas City Dust Devils, 3-2. Fremont shortstop Eric Esposito stood apart with his performance. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk. The win belonged to Joe Ault in relief. His record improves to 4-2. Carson Rigney took the loss for Kansas City. Fremont currently is in 5th place in the Northern A West Division at 47-86.

Fremont took a 3-2 lead on Gabe Garnica's 11th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Garnica hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Kansas City pitcher David Valdez visibly frustrated.

"Tough loss," said Kansas City manager Jaden White. "But we'll learn from it."
