Cannonballers Deal Ambassadors 7-1 Defeat

The Cottage City Cannonballers finished off the Fremont Ambassadors, 7-1. Much of the credit belonged to left fielder Chris Stoll. Stoll was 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Cannonballers. Cottage City, with the win, sits at 41-90.
Cottage City used a big swing from Warren Watson to get the win. The catcher walloped a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Cannonballers up, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it changed the outcome.
"Winning is hard sometimes," said Cannonballers manager Justin Eaglin. "This one was nice to get."
