Behind a fine performance from Chris Alexander, the Fremont Ambassadors knocked off the Tampa Capitals, 6-1. Alexander was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Ambassadors. The winning streak has now reached 7 games for the Ambassadors.

Fremont first baseman Julio Font contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 16th hit of the season and put the Ambassadors ahead, 2-0.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Fremont skipper John McNair.
