Engineers Ballpark was the site of quite a ballgame.

The St. Catharines Blue Jays outlasted Steve Nalbach and the Deltaville Deltas, 11-10. Nalbach was impressive in the loss. The Deltaville left fielder belted 2 home runs. The win was credited to 25-year old left-handed pitcher Chris Yarbrough in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Jim Unknown took the loss.

When he batted in the bottom of the ninth, Mike Wisler had a golden opportunity to change the game's outcome. Deltaville pitcher Jim Unknown was determined not to let him. But with one out, Wisler hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Blue Jays had a suspense-filled triumph.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Wisler said.

At 53-61, the Blue Jays claim third place in the Northern A West Division.
