The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks and Huntsville Rockets obliged fans looking for a good time.

In a close game at Jet Hawks Ballpark, the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks edged the Huntsville Rockets, 5-4. Grand Rapids center fielder Caleb Herd stood apart with his performance. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Freddy Arellanos picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 9-3. Picking up the save was Juan Santana. He's now 10 for 12 in save chances.

The Jet Hawks got a big at-bat from first baseman Matt DeLaet. For the game, DeLaet was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 30th home run of the season gave Grand Rapids a 5-3 lead.
