Grissom Leads Miners to 10-5 Win Over Blue Jays
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Glace Bay Miners and St. Catharines Blue Jays.

Matt Grissom knocked in 3 runs to help Glace Bay beat St. Catharines, 10-5. The designated hitter collected 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. At 79-32, the Miners find themselves in second place in the Northern A East Division.

In the bottom of the 5th, Glace Bay took the lead on a 2-run double by Joe Gillis. At the time, the Miners were trailing 4-3, but Gillis's hit with two outs against St. Catharines pitcher Jace Kuc put them in front, 5-4.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Gillis.
