Ray Geltz had a big 2-run double for the Miners in the bottom of the third inning. With Glace Bay leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a slider from Danny Vollmer and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Miners ahead, 4-0.

Glace Bay manager Carlos Acevedo attributed the win to "a little bit of this and a little bit of that."
