Glace Bay Miners starter Bobby Jones pitched his team past the St. Catharines Blue Jays, 3-0. Bubba Byrne got credit for the save for Glace Bay. It was his 7th of the year. With the win, Glace Bay pushed its record to 37-15.

Glace Bay took the lead, 3-0, on Sergio Camero's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off St. Catharines pitcher Mitch Jones in the top of the ninth.

"Everything seems to be clicking right now for us, top to bottom," said Glace Bay manager Carlos Acevedo.
