The Santa Rosa Desperados and Tampa Capitals played an entertaining game for Keelhaulers Ballpark patrons.
Ken Fox, who is tied for 2nd in the N-A in holds with 5, was locked in. The left-hander led the Santa Rosa Desperados to a 4-3 win against the Tampa Capitals at Keelhaulers Ballpark. In 6.2 innings, Fox surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs.
Ross Myer's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with a runner on 2nd and the game tied, 2-2. The Santa Rosa third baseman hit a run-scoring single off Andy Devane to put the Desperados up.
Myer called the win "a team effort."
