The Glace Bay Miners finished off the San Antonio Stallions, 6-2. Much of the credit belonged to third baseman Keith DiPiazza. DiPiazza slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for the Miners. The Miners saw their record improve to 30-14.

DiPiazza had a key at-bat for Glace Bay in the top of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and gave Glace Bay an early 2-0 lead.
