The Grand Rapids Jet Hawks beat the Tampa Capitals, 5-2, in 12 innings at Jet Hawks Ballpark. Ben Porter, in particular, was impressive. He went 3-6 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Grand Rapids, at 27-17, occupies second place in the Northern A East Division.

In the bottom of the 12th, with the score tied, Porter hammered a 3-run home run to win it for Grand Rapids.
