Big Day for Burm in 5-1 Cannonballers Win
Bobby Burm was a major contributor to the 5-1 Cottage City win over Kansas City. The Cannonballers first baseman was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Cottage City pitcher Loeck Krijgsman earned the win, hiking his record to 2-1. Vinny Alvarenga suffered the loss. The victory makes Cottage City 13-28.

With Cottage City trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Burm hit a changeup from Vinny Alvarenga for a 2-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Cannonballers ahead, 2-1.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Burm.
